Assessments

Each athlete interested in playing in the LYV League must be assessed. This is how we build teams of athletes with similar skills and age levels. The assessments are objective measurements of the athletes and are completed by our NVVA coaches. Because we offer such a wide age range for our teams, we have tailored the assessments for each division to ensure an age-appropriate skills assessment.

Co-Ed Elementary

All athletes will be part of the same LYV elementary school division. Games are adapted to the age group.

Girls Middle School

LYV Girls Middle School has three different divisions: Open 1 (Black), Open 2 (Red) and House (White and Grey). Athlete's will be placed in the appropriate division.

Girls High School

Athletes can register as "free agents" and come to assessments to be placed on a team, or have an adult representative register the team.

Boys Middle School

Teams will be part of one division. Games follow competitive play rules. Adult representatives are allowed to register their own team to the league.

Boys High School

Teams will be part of one division. Games follow competitive play rules. Adult representatives are allowed to register their own team to the league.

There will be NO make-up assessments after your location and age group's assessment date. If you can not attend the assessment for your school, please use this link to arrange an assessment that fits your schedule.
