Tournament Information:
Every team in every division of LYV participates in the post-season tournament. Open Divisions will be cross seeded for the final tournament. House Divisions will be cross seeded for the final tournament.

Every team will be assigned a seed number. Final seedings will be based on regular-season won-lost records. In the event of any ties, point differentials will determine seed.

The tournament is single elimination: lose a match and you are eliminated. There is no chance for re-entry, there is no losers bracket. Winners keep advancing.

Teams should arrive at the Virginia Volleyball Center as instructed by their coach. The coin flip prior to Game #1 will determine who serves first for sets 1 and 2. If a third set is necessary, a coin flip to determine who serves first for game #3 will be done prior to game #3.
Timed warm-ups will be 10 minutes in length. This will use the 5-5 warm-up that was used during the regular season. The team serving first in-game #1 will then have sole possession of the entire court for 5 minutes followed by the other team having sole possession for 5 minutes.

Teams will remain on the same side of the court for the entire match.

Tournament Directors have the authority to alter start times as long as both teams/coaches and the assigned referee are present.

Tournament Directors are in charge of the competition and can be identified by a Tournament Director shirt. Team Coaches should always check in with the Tournament Director upon arrival to check in their team. Teams that have lost should check out with the Tournament Director to ensure there are no additional work assignments for the team. Teams who have won should check in with the Tournament Director prior to confirm their next match start time.

Playing time and substitution rules for the tournament are the same as the regular season rules for each division.
